Vibrant Beet, Apple & Ginger Juice

🥤 Vibrant Beet, Apple & Ginger Juice
Introduction
Boasting a stunning deep crimson color, this fresh cold-pressed style juice brings together earthy beetroot, sweet crisp apples, zesty lemon, and a fiery kick of ginger. It is an energizing, naturally sweet drink packed with vitamins, minerals, and dietary nitrates.
History & Culinary Formation
Ancient Beginnings: Native to the Mediterranean coastline, beetroots were originally cultivated for their leaves (similar to chard). The ancient Romans and Greeks were among the first to eat the root and use it in traditional medicine.
The Juice Movement: In the 20th century, the advent of mechanical juicers transformed root vegetables from hearty cooked dishes into refreshing health drinks popular in wellness circles worldwide.
The Culinary Formation: Earthy beet juice on its own can be intense and slightly muddy in flavor. The key to a great beet juice blend is balancing the earthiness with acidity (fresh lemon) and natural sweetness (sweet apples), finished with a sharp spice (fresh ginger).
Ingredients List
Main Protein: 500g Chicken breast (cut into bite-sized cubes)
Aromatics: 3 cloves Garlic (minced) and 1 medium Onion (chopped)
Seasonings: 1 tsp Salt, ½ tsp Black pepper, and 1 tsp Paprika
Liquid Base: 1 cup Chicken broth and ½ cup Cooking cream
Fresh Finish: 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (finely chopped)
Instructions & Preparation Methods
Method 1: Juicer Method (Easiest)

  1. Prep the Produce: Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly. Peel the beetroot and lemon, and core the apples. Cut them into pieces sized to fit your juicer’s chute.
  2. Juice: Pass the beet, apple slices, ginger, and lemon through a centrifugal or cold-press juicer.
  3. Chill & Serve: Stir the fresh juice, pour over ice, and drink immediately for maximum freshness and flavor.
Method 2: Blender + Strainer Method (No Juicer Needed)
  4. Chop Small: Dice the raw beet, apples, peeled ginger, and lemon into small chunks.
  5. Blend: Place all ingredients into a high-powered blender along with ½ cup of cold water or coconut water. Blend on high speed for 60 to 90 seconds until completely smooth.
  6. Strain: Pour the thick mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or nut milk bag into a pitcher, pressing down with a spatula or squeezing the bag to extract all the liquid. Discard or compost the pulp.
